ftp.CollectionSoftware.com Server

NOTE: WS_FTP

Procedure:
IMPORTANT: DO NOT
start this procedure until you have registered a USER NAME and
PASSWORD with CLS Tech Support.

Start WS_FTP Professional using either the
WS_FTP icon on the
desktop or by using Start>All Programs>WS_FTP Pro>Ipswitch WS_FTP
Professional 2006.

If a directory with folders appears instead of the Blank
Connection Pane (see graphic) close that directory and any
subsequent directories until the Blank Connection Pane appears in the WS_FTP Pro control panel.

Click on the Connection Wizard.

Enter an identifiable site name for the Collection-Master FTP site
in the Site Name: text field and click on the [Next]
button.
NOTE: This is the name
that appears when the user connects to ftp.CollectionSoftware.com.

Select a connection type from the drop-down list and click on the
[Next] button.
NOTE: CLS recommends SFTP/SSH
as a first choice of connection types, followed by FTP/Implicit SSL and then
FTP/SSL.

Enter "ftp.CollectionSoftware.com" as the server address for
the CLS FTP site and click on the [Next] button.

Enter your USER NAME and PASSWORD that you
previously registered with CLS Tech Support and click on the
[Next] button.

The Connection Wizard displays a "Finish" screen. Review the
connection information that is displayed on the "Finish" screen for
accuracy. Click on the [Back] button to make any necessary changes.

By default, "Connect to this site" box is checked. If you do not
want to immediately connect to
ftp.CollectionSoftware.com,
uncheck the box.

Click the [Finish] button to create the site.

Upon initial connection to the FTP site, an "Untrusted
Public Key" window appears. Select the desired level of trust and click on the
[OK] button.
NOTE: CLS
uses this "key" to encrypt any and all data placed in the
ftp.CollectionSoftware.com site.
"Trust this key"
is the recommended setting. Once selected, this window no longer appears.
If "Allow this
connection only" is selected, this window appears each time you connect
to ftp.CollectionSoftware.com
